Summary Since my first position, I have spent my career building a comprehensive background within the Hotel, Tour and Travel industry with a primary focus on meeting management. After gaining hotel Front Office and Accounting experience, I took my first Convention Services Manager position where, over a seven year period, I managed groups from 50 - 3000 participants. Subsequent positions as Assistant Director of Catering and Group Sales Manager, each involving a property opening, helped to facilitate a strong contract negotiation skills as well as an experience in opening a new hotel. Upon moving to GlaxoSmithKline my responsibilities turned to vendor management for venue sourcing, group air procurement, production and creative design, and meeting management services. While assigned to the Oncology, Vaccines, and Respiratory business units, I was responsible for managing national sales and product launch meetings for 100 - 3200 participants with annual budgets of $5M - $11M, depending upon the business. During this tenure, I received Certified Meetings Professional designation in 2004. Ownership Color Me Mine, Voorhees, NJ Co-Owner/Chief Financial Officer May, 2014 - Present As the leader of the paint your own pottery retail experience, Color Me Mine creates an environment of creativity and fun. As CFO, I am responsible for managing all accounts receivable and payable, inventory management, and payroll. All of the roles listed above are on a part time basis and managed in conjunction with my Co-Owner and wife.
