Description
9+ years of Programmatic Experience in direct support of the Navy at Navy Facility (NAVFAC) Headquarters. In-depth knowledge of the DOD Federal contracting, acquisition, and Government budget & spending cycles. Expanded the DLA SRM POL program from $150M to over $300M annually. This program is a Defense Working Capital funded level program in support of strategic assets which extend across both CONUS and OCONUS Navy/Marine Corp locations/installations. Established key contacts throughout the Navy and DOD including the Joint Staff, DLA, OSD, CNIC, DOT, NAVSEA, NAVSUP, Army Corps, USACE, SPAWAR, NMCI, and DFAS. Also responsible for advising the NAVFAC HQ CIO on best practices for growth of the program to meet Capital Improvement requirements. Keen knowledge of DOD Budget, Contracts, & Acquisition Strategy including the FAR * Management - currently manages 34+ engineers * Established key & strategic relationships within Navy, DLA, OSD, DOT, DFAS, NAVSEA, NMCI, SPAWAR * Projecting assets & solutions required to grow NAVFAC/CMP program * Proven ability to grow an ACAT Level program * Prepare & present Executive Level Briefings * Advise SES level NAVFAC leadership including CIO, CI, ACQ, and FM * Vast knowledge of government fund sources (General Fund, NWCF, DWCF, etc.) Clearance Tier 3
