Summary of Qualifications: I am a network engineer with a broad range of experience that allow me to fully understand the needs of a business while designing, configuring, and deploying layer 2 and layer 3 devices in a secure fashion. I am also well versed in the design, deployment, and maintenance of Windows Server platforms from 2003 to 2016, including Active Directory management, policy creation, and disaster recovery protocols. I have also assisted in audit remediation and compliance for banks, medical centers, and law offices, which allows me to consider and implement security best practices and audit compliance throughout the network design process. Furthermore, my work as a team lead and project manager has allowed me to understand both the impact of business decisions on the IT team, and the positive and negative impacts IT departments can have on a business's workflow, budget, and various other crucial areas. I am knowledgeable in the configuration of switches, routers, and firewalls from over 10 distinct vendors. I have experience in both Windows and Linux server administration. I am well versed in policy creation for both audit compliance and workflow improvement. I have earned the trust of hundreds of end users. I am also knowledgeable in the deployment and managing of WiFi networks, VoIP solutions, Virtual Private Networks, various routing protocols (both internal and external), SQL and Access databases, IDS/IPS solutions, point-to-point radio solutions, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, end-user support, end-user training, and much more. I have had the privilege to operate and maintain networks ranging in size from five to ten user local businesses to large scale government offices with hundreds of PCs and Wireless ISPs servicing hundreds of miles of area in Nevada and Arizona. As a result of the breadth of experience I have been subject to, I am an expert in designing and maintaining any size network from the ground up.
