PROFILE: Thirty years plus experience in Project Design, Management, Construction, Commissioning, Start up, Reliability and Maintenance, Procurement, Petrochemical, in upstream and downstream oil and gas industry. Worked as Mechanical Engineer over 30 years, extensive experience of rotating machinery applications in the Onshore and Offshore, Oil and Gas, Pipelines, Nuclear Power Plant and LNG projects environment to include proposal, concept, front end engineering design, detailed design, commissioning, and operations. detailed knowledge of various types of package units such as waste water treatment, demin water, clarifier, chemical injection, sewage treatment, water filtration, potable water maker, etc the major machinery types, to include compressors, pumps, and gas/steam turbines, lubrication, shaft sealing, and machinery selection, piping design and pipe stress analysis Field experience in performance testing, commissioning, field supports for rotating equipment for oil & gas major projects. Experienced in team work in major grass-roots gas gathering and treatment gas plant gas lift and booster compressors, equipment specification, selection, bid evaluation, engineering follow-up, testing, installation, pre-commissioning / commissioning and start up of plant's equipment. Work activities also include collection and interpretation of engineering data, development of project design basis, specifications, vendor technical interfaces, scope changes (PDNs) and deviations, and coordination with other disciplines. Position ensures conformance of the FEED and EPC contractors to applicable engineering codes and standards as well as company QA system, policies and procedures. Reviewing contractors and work for conformance to client and project procedures and maintaining completion of mechanical deliverables on schedule, include participating in the review of the man-hour estimates, staffing levels, forecasting, status tracking, project schedule and change requests. Coordination with subcontractors, budget control, construction support, and interface with other discipline engineers and workshare interface experience with other Fluor overseas offices. Familiar with the API, ANSI, NFPA, ASME, ASTM, AWS, ISO, NACE and OSHA standards.
