COVER LETTER: To Whom It May Concern: Iam an experienced Occupational Therapist seeking a full-time opportunity with an employer who's mission is to help people improve their quality of life by optimizing their level of function and independence. My true passion and love in life has always been working as an Occupational Therapist. For personal reasons, I have spent the last several years working in real estate. This provided a flexible schedule which allowed me to care for my ill father. At the same time, I also served as a legal guardian for a close friend with a traumatic brain injury. I have worked in many therapy settings including: nursing homes, hospitals, out patient clinics, group homes, adult day care centers, schools, work site clinics and in everyday life. I have started two out patient Occupational therapy departments the first was at the Wausau Medical Center in Wausau then Iwas recruited by Bellin Hospital in Green Bay to develop an out patient Occupational Therapy department so they could compete with St. Vincent's Hospital. In 1999,1 left Bellin and started my own business called Besiada Therapy & Ergonomics, LLC. I set up contractswith employers to set up on-site, employer based clinics fortheir employees to receive Occupational & Physical therapies, as well as ergonomic assessments. Most of my clients were nation-wide, so by 2006, we were providingservices from the east to west coasts of the United States and in Canada. Iclosed my business in late 2011 following the 2008 market crash. After 2011,1 completed a couple of Occupational therapy travel assignments because Iwas not sure what Iwanted to do next. Following that I began in real estate. My life is less complicated now. I have never felt the same passion and love for real estate as I always had for Occupational Therapy. Iam searching for a position that challenges me and provides me with an opportuntiy to once again help patients/clients be functional and independent optimizing their quality of life.
