LARICE A. ADDAMO
BIOGRAPHY
Larice Addamo is a successful career woman with diversified experience in client relations, corporate communications, training and development, and digital media. Most recently, she worked as a Training Specialist and Development Administrator at Broadridge Financial, where she coached 160 Associates on phone and email business writing as well as oral presentations. While managing global guidelines of writing, formatting, and editing, Larice also updated the rubric database, compiled metrics, and produced a Business Writing Best Practices Guide and Commonly Misused Words Guide. In three years, she improved Client Satisfaction scores by 74%.
In her prior role as Adobe Product Consultant at Broadfield Distributing, Larice sold and managed Adobe Creative Cloud subscriptions to broadcasters, post facilities, corporations, schools, and government agencies. In addition to directing the Adobe Portal process with new user training, technical support and product road maps, she managed bid pricing, product promotions, deal registration, and discount pricing programs.
Larice’s strong communication skills contributed to her success at EC InfoSystems, where she sold electronic transaction processing in a niche market of utilities and energy marketers. In one year, she doubled the client base and exceeded profit margins of 25% averaging 37.75% on sales.
While at Home Box Office, Larice worked as a Quality Assurance/Control Coordinator in Digital Media operation and was Lead Editor and Supervisor of Offline Closed Captioning for all of HBO and Cinemax Original Programming. She also created a 101 Training Guide for New Hires that is still in use, established Computer Dictionaries, and edited text into caption blocks for preprogrammed assets as well as live shows.
Earlier in her career, Larice worked as an Executive Assistant to various executives, including the VP of Broadcast Operations at HBO and VP of Sales and Marketing at Sperry Instruments. Her strong administrative and language skills are enhanced by her prodigious command of a broad range of software and IT programs.
Larice has received a Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Adelphi University and currently lives in Lake Grove, where she enjoys snowboarding in the winter, dancing, movies, walking, museums, reading, theater, and weekly dinners with family and friends.
