Qualification Summary: Mr. Raben has over 15 years experience working with one of the major Indonesian resource company. Harita Jayaraya is an old Indonesian corporation and its activities are concentrated in mining, logging and wood industry, agriculture, and financial sector. Harita mining and mineral extraction is throughout Indonesia. It is in nickel, bauxite, iron ore extraction and coal mining. It was one of the pioneers in the logging and timber industry and currently operates many timber concessions all over Kalimantan. It is one of the major plywood manufacturers in Indonesia. Harita Jayaraya through its agribusiness unit is active in the palm oil industry and has over 100,000 hectares of land holding with over one third of it in cultivation in palm oil palms. Lastly, through its subsidiary Harita Kencana Securities is active in the stock brokerage business and is a member of the Jakarta Stock Exchange. Mr. Raben worked in the various divisions of the Harita Group. Through out his career with the company he has demonstrated leadership and the right foresight. Later in his career, he was sent back to America by the company to help establish the company's products (flooring) in the American market. Besides marketing, he also managed and ran the day to day affairs of the company in America. Mr. Raben played a significant role in building up engineered flooring sales in the USA. In 2002, the company exported 55 containers worth of US$2,209,793 in sales. In 2007, it had sold 673 containers worth of US$28,682,624 in sales. It reflects 1,124% increase in number of containers and 1,198% increase in sales in US$.
