Description
Raw Manage logistics of multiple events in 100+ meeting rooms within 7 buildings and 3,000 acres of five-star, five-diamond property. Oversee service charges for all bars, liquor and wine sales, and acquisitions. Prepare and implement functions ranging from 5-1,500 people. Lead 2-5 co-captains and supply logistical guidance to all event support activities. Interview, hire, train, and mentor new employees. Work with (10 to 150 at any one time) international staff representing 15-20 countries providing customer service to clients/audiences. Administer and train 2-6 department employees per shift. Handle basic administrative tasks including setting and approving work schedules, site set-up, inventory training, and conflict resolution. Utilize extensive knowledge of wine, spirits and food preparation and presentation. Consult with clients to understand requirements. Liaise with hotel sales contact, client meeting planner, and additional property leadership. Investigate and resolve guest/client problems, requests, and concerns in bar area service. Facilitate weekly staff meetings communications about upcoming meeting and events and expected assignments. Work with assistant food and beverage director and banquet manager to guarantee all requirements and general communication work together. Key Contributions: * Maintain and inventory $100K worth of product daily. * Have become the Departments mixologist of reference for special events. * Have made and developed long term relationships with clients and am asked for by name to oversee events * Have a great working relationship with the President of the Hotel as well as most of all the major departments within the property.
