My Career: 2009 - Present Consulting Engineer Invented, designed and prototyped several traveling irrigation devices. Designed and prototyped eductor jet pump product. Designed vibration isolation and clutch assist mechanisms for motorcycles. Various tooling and process projects for reprocessing of waste wood fiber into architectural acoustic panels. Redesigned small chemical processing plant and rearranged tanks, plumbing, controls and pumps. Repaired water processing equipment in that plant. Designed semi-automated assembly station for reusable produce bags. And a variety of other fun projects. 2004 - 2009 Consulting Engineer to Wagner Spraytech Production Engineering, Product Development, and Technical Staffing projects for consumer and contractor paint products manufacturer. Instrumental in rapidly relocating several production lines in the US and China. Designed, fabricated and implemented numerous tools and machines for production and quality improvement. Participated in Kaizen, root-cause analysis and 5S projects. Added many ergonomic improvements to production lines. Assisted in defining departmental and individual tasks and roles, and helped with several personnel projects.
