Responsibilities include: Patient care SUNY Health Science Center at charge nurse coordinating nursing assignments delegating tasks support system for patients' and their family members resource person for new staff members chairperson for the unit based collaborative practice committee active member of the quality assurance committee primary nurse medication nurse and teacher. Accomplishments: -Re- Certification achieved for Total Joint Program from the Joint Commission in March 2017. Received Certification from the Joint Commission in March 2015 for a center of excellence for the Total Hip and Knee program at LIJ -Neurosurgery nursing consultant for St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Utica New York. Facilitated the opening of the new Neurosurgical ICU at this facility.
