Instigated a 'Design for Construction' philosophy with BWO and contractors using PDMS for hull topside modules and integration with special consideration to reducing topsides weight reduced by 15-20% optimizing layout space mechanical handling pipe stress implementation and pipe support design to assist construction activities. Introduced multi-discipline 3D model design review procedure in PDMS and Navisworks for integrated engineering construction commissioning and operations teams for hull / marine turret and topsides for 30% 60% and 90% model reviews. Ensured model review comments where incorporated review close-out reports for acceptance. Utilised 3D PDMS model for fabrication and construction reviews to assist Construction teams to move forward in a productive manner. After successful completion on time and with budget of issuance of design / construction deliverables moved onto Client Site piping duties at FPSO contractor and sub-contractor in Singapore Turret and Topside module fabricator Dyna-Mac. During module construction phase ensured discipline's contractual and technical requirements where duly applied by FPSO Contractor and Subcontractors. Conducted client system and sub-system walk-downs for Mechanical Completions (MC) at Module Construction yard and integration in Singapore (Keppel). Ensured P&ID compliance ensuring design and contractual criteria maintained during construction phase. Client representative at site for Flange Management and Nitrogen Helium testing review of sub-contractor's deliverables and procedures attended safety reviews and final walkdown prior to conducting N2He testing and hand over to commissioning.
