Accomplishments: Purchased raw materials for inventory and production for a major metals distribution company with a staff of over 35 people. Purchases involved buying raw materials from major mills to meet customer specifications. Material was used primarily for the aerospace industry with some of our customers being Boeing, Northrop, Bombardier, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Japan Airlines and Korean Airlines. All material had to be traceable back to the original ingot. Quality control would be involved to make sure that all paperwork was correct and the material was identified the same as the paperwork. Material that would be heat treated or ultra sonic inspected would have to be from an approved source of Boeing, Northrop etc. We would have first article inspections and as we were processing the material we would have second and third article inspections. Expanded company by purchasing major equipment including rolling stock to become a major production facility. Have been self-employed since 2005 because B & J Metals went out of business. I have been doing brokering of raw materials. Due to sequestration business has fallen off dramatically and would like to apply my talents and energy with an energetic company.
