Accomplishments include reduction of ORIR from 1.6 to 0.44 and an increase of on time order completion from 72% to 95%. Assisted in improving plant productivity to better than budgeted levels. 1999 - 2000 Hayes-Lemmerz Somerset, KY * Production Manager, Machine shop Managed approximately 100 employees in the production of aluminum wheels for a tier 1 automotive supplier. Completed cost reduction project to change coolant in two major systems to improve tool life and reduce coolant usage. Coolant change also reduced employee exposure to mist within the department work environment. Improved output from 2000 wheels per day to 3500.
