Accomplishments Led $50M acquisition to support national contract with Marriot Corp. Professional Systems had been awarded nationwide contract for housekeeping services. Sourced acquisition target, raised substantial capital, conducted due diligence and closed $50M transaction. Expanded to 48 states with new contracts from Starwood and Avendra. Developed new reporting systems to dramatically improve accountability. Newly-formed Kimco Facility Services lacked formal reporting & accountability structures. Implemented weekly up-through-the-ranks Business Plan Review with KPIs. Created transparency and new organizational discipline. Reduced costs $500K per month. Created new value proposition to improve gross margin $1.5M. Low bid pricing model at Kimco was not sustainable. Surveyed customers to better understand their key business needs and responded with new systems and solutions to strengthen value proposition. Cut losses on re-bids 50% and added $1.5M in gross margin. Directed major reengineering project to save Charter Medical $14M annually. Changing Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement policies forced dramatic change. Led large-scale reengineering project in non-core hospital services including dietary, pharmacy, maintenance, housekeeping and plant operations to reduce operating costs $14M. Managed successful startup of residential treatment facility. Middle class youth suffering from mental illness was an underserved population. Led effort to convert closed hospital into residential treatment facility, filing for required licenses/accreditation, recruited staff and developed referral network. Facility was up & running in 30 days. Integrated 35 newly-acquired hospitals into corporate ERP system. Charter had just closed acquisition of 35 hospitals. Designed 180-day transition program where Charter processed tasks for new hospital units prior to migration to existing ERP system. Transitioned all 35 operations into corporate system on time & on-budget.
