ACCOMPLISHMENTS Improved program quality metrics. Joined a Long-Term Care facility when quality performance indicators were declining. Quickly learned challenges of elderly population, and implemented stringent quality assurance program for optimal patient health. Improved quality assurance measures/performance indicators, scoring 25/30. Enhanced critical operations. Joined newly constructed Surgical Specialty Center to manage satellite kitchen operations serving two facilities. Developed guidelines and education modules for food service personnel, ensuring quality and sanitary procedures. Created dynamic patient education materials. Educational materials given to patients at Renal Associates (RAI) were bland and poorly developed. Rewrote materials for patients that was easy to understand and with strategies easy to implement in daily lives. Improved patient compliance with objectives. Increased attendance. A critical issue at Valencia College was retaining students. Created classes and seminar that captivated and engaged students. Increased attendance, and was asked to teach number of classes across four campuses and improving enrollment at all campus. Voted highest rated professor for ten years.
