QUALIFICATIONS * 35+ years Hospital/Medical experience * Skilled Compliance Auditor * 35+ years in billing and accounts receivable with a focus on maximal reimbursement of outpatient and inpatient medical charges and professional fees to all third-party payers including Medi-Cal, Medicare, CCS, GHPP, Managed Care and all Private insurance carriers. * Trained and certified ICD/CPT coder with a thorough knowledge of coding for maximum reimbursement. Currently specializing in E&M coding. * Provides expert testimony for billing litigation. * Trained and certified in Medical Terminology. * Frequent seminars and classes upgrading my skills in billing for maximal reimbursement with a focus on procedural requirements. * Proficient in Special Project troubleshooting, organization and completion with a specific focus in successfully reducing A/R days, account reconciliation and patient assistance. * Extensive computer system experience including, Excel, Powerpoint, MS Word, EPIC, IDX, BAR, MCA, DDE/Qube, QME, Arbis, Cicsproa, Wyse, HBO and IHS, SIRRUS, PBAR, Health Logic Medi-tech, Paradigm, KRONOS * Effective carrier/patient liaison. * Proficient in the creation of customized procedure manuals and staff training. * HIPPA trained and compliant. * Insurance Reimbursement Legal Issues certified.
