Summary I am a lifespan developmental psychology scientist with a strong background in research, project management, and educational instruction. * Interested in the cultural factors that influence children's experiences in the classroom as well as teachers' educational strategies in the classroom * Secondary interests in the role of mental health of students and student motivation within the classroom * Led several research projects in the classroom as well as web based survey studies * Four years teaching experience at the undergraduate level as well as academically gifted middle and high school students * Developed strong communication and leadership skills as lab manager and as mentor to undergraduate and high school students SAS AMOS * Family, Affect, Beliefs and Behaviors Lab * * Developed software skills and online security protocols to protect and retrieve data * Day to day troubleshooting of methodological issues * Tested three-way cross-level interactions using repeated ANOVA and MANOVA to determine how teachers made attributions of students in an ambiguous task. * Two manuscripts currently in prep for submittal to "Journal of Educational Research" and "Journal of Teaching and Teacher education"
