PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY I am seeking an IT leadership position. I have excellent team building skills and strong technical skills. I have consulted for large organizations including Google, Visa, Robert Half International, San Jose Water, Oracle, Sun, Sega, San Jose State University as well as dozens of startups. I have been the project manager on numerous rollouts and technology migrations. I have the ability to explain technical issues with documentation and useful analogies to non-technical/sales staff. I am familiar with SOX compliance, FDA regulations, etc. I can mentor technical employees as well as lead them. I have hired dozens of project staff maintained close to 100% employee retention. SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS I was brought into Universal Electronics to clean up their IT environment, make staffing changes and get them back on track with their IT objectives. I managed the transition team that changed out all of the staff and brought new technology into the company At San Jose Water, a Utility Managed 5 resources and rebuilt entire San Jose Water network by migrating 200 servers from a physical network to a virtual infrastructure. Planned, and implemented a majority of the work and took hands-on role with the implementation. Created disaster recovery, plan, site and tested all procedures and policies. At Google, a search engine company, managed 60 Engineers to maintain and create the Google Mountain View Wifi network. Monitored, designed and architected the metro area network (MAN). Updated wireless access points, replaced hardware, and maintained network infrastructure. Built a 30 helpdesk support team to service end users issues through a dynamic web portal. At Case Central a E-discovery company managed 50 Engineers, built helpdesk, combined overseas and local resources to build 24x7 helpdesk environment. Processed 10,000 tickets a day, with a variety of service level agreements and response times. Maintained a 90% resolution rate. Built network and infrastructure team for Preview Systems and e-commerce Company. Hired and staffed 20 person IT team. Started there as employee 6 and brought the company from a 1 server network into a national company. Took the company through an IPO and then ultimately transitioned it to an international company that purchased them.
