Ed degree in Community Counseling with over 20 years of combined experience in the field of compliance and state licensing and Counseling with children/adolescents and families. * Experience working with a diverse population of children/adolescents and families. * Several years of clinical experience. * Experience providing in-home therapy. * Experience responding to family crisis' * Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process Familiarity with application of the DSM IV * Proven expertise in establishing rapport and building trust with campus presidents and state regulators. * Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to partner across departments to meet the needs of the institutions. * Proven ability to perform audits to meet state requirements * Ability to work shifts, weekends, holidays * Ability to assume on call responsibilities. Behavioral Health Tech The primary function of the Behavioral Health Tech position is to support the client. Other duties include but are not limited to: * Supervise the client while in treatment * Conduct NA and AA meetings with the residents * Conduct group therapy sessions centered around coping with addiction * Provide counselors with information regarding clients behaviors * Meet with the clients individually as needed Youth is one of the region's leading agencies providing community-based care for troubled abused homeless and runaway youth and their families.
