Summary * Certified Activity Director in the state of Florida by the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP). Member of Florida Healthcare Care Activity Coordinators Association (FHCACA). * Twenty-nine years' experience in healthcare and working with multiple senior populations. * Served nine years as President of Florida Health Care Activity Coordinators Association (FHCACA) for District IV, which includes the Tampa Bay area cities of Brandon, Dade City, Sun City Center, Wesley Chapel, and Zephyrhills FL. * Represented the district at state wide board meetings. * Alzheimer's Association involvement with caregiver's support groups, educational workshops, and fund raising for the associations yearly memory walk. * Interfaced meetings with the Byrd Institute at the University of South Florida (USF) devoted to Alzheimer's research and education. Participated in facilitating client and family involvement with the institute for community education seminars to help understand the disease process.
