Summary Currently responsible to the Sr. Director of Quality Assurance of a mid-sized food processing company for the financial results of the department of Quality Assurance and Safety, and its goals and objectives of protecting the company, its stock holders, employees, customers, and consumers through systemic quality assurance, safety, and regulatory program. Having earned a B.S. in Microbiology from L.S.U., I began my career as a laboratory microbiologist. Desiring to excel professionally, and promote my company, I accepted positions of responsibility including QA Supervisor, QA/QC Manager, and QA/Safety Director, before joining the executive management team as the Vice President of QA and Safety. Through these past 27 loyal years of hands-on management and listening, I have successfully organized three effective quality assurance departments for the manufacturing facilities I am responsible for. Effectively communicating the objectives of the organization through written and verbal forms, I have helped reduce complaints by more than 75% and contributed to the successful growth of Diversified Foods & Seasonings L.L.C. into a multimillion dollar profitable organization. DFS has a world class quality program as cited and recognized by 3rd party food quality and safety auditors. I wrote, developed, and implemented the HACCP and Quality Assurance programs. The Safety Program and Environmental Compliance programs currently in effect are products of my leadership. I believe in safety of our products produced and the employees who work to make those products. My motivation is customer satisfaction, both internally and externally to assure sustainable profitability for our organization. I also believe in advocating documentation and strong record keeping programs to show due diligence is performed.
