When I retired from Williams I was the Supervisor of General Business Services. I was accountable to provide general business services in the following departments: Cafeteria Shipping and Receiving Mail Services Printing Services Front Lobby Receptionist and Records Services to an average of 400-600 employees and 200-400 building tenants. These services were provided by an average of 18 employees and 8 contract employees. During my tenure with Williams I was responsible for revitalizing the cafeteria from being subsidized by the company to a profitable business department this was an increase in revenue of over 50%. I was also responsible for the design and logistics to relocate and resize all general services departments to better align our space and workforce requirements with the changing business of the company. This was accomplished by physically relocating some departments and/or building walls/rooms for other departments. This was all accomplished without any disruptions in service and also without any negative feed back by customers this was also accomplished within budget and time deadlines. I have the skills to lead teams in a positive direction helping remove obstacles for my employees. I was respected appreciated by my teams because I was willing to roll up my sleeves dig in and work side by side with them. I am a mentor an advocate and a friend to all my team members. Despite the very diverse backgrounds in these departments and the diverse nature of individuals I was very successful in gaining the respect and admiration of all individuals within my departments. I am familiar with all pieces of equipment and processes and have proficiently operated most pieces of equipment in: Mail Services Printing Services Shipping and Receiving.
