Summary of Education and Experience: Graduation Key Qualifications : I, Amit Kumar Singh, Graduate in Civil Engineering has 17 years of excellent wide professional experience in design review, construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of Road/ Highway projects in India. I am also experienced in ensuring Quality Control, supervise & inspect the performance of work, vis-�-vis levels, workmanship, specifications, laying procedure of bituminous and rigid pavements. I am having experience in construction supervision, construction management, reporting procedures, resources management, cost analysis & cost control, planning, allocation and control of resources, quality analysis and quality control, execution of work as per the International Standards such as BS, ASTM, AASHTO etc. I am well versed in study of design/ drawings, pavement design, geometric design, traffic operations, laying of bitumen, Mix Design, process control, setting out vertical and horizontal alignment for the highway project. I have experience in adopting modern road construction techniques for the highway. I am also aware of FIDIC administration for the projects. I am well conversant with IRC guidelines and MORTH specifications and well versed with Quality Assurance Programmes, setting up of casting yards, Rock crushers and Bituminous Hot Mix Plants, determination of characteristic strength of Concrete, Mix Design and selection/ suitability of Highway construction materials, setting up and smooth operation of Field Laboratory. Apart from this, I have experience in construction of Underground Tunnels, which involved Geological study of Rocks & Geological mapping (Rock Classification) of each face and development of data base during construction, Rock Drilling and Blasting, Scaling & Muck removal, Shotcreting, Rock Strengthening i.e.( Installation of temporary rock support, Installation of permanent rock support Installation of rock support for unexpected geological conditions), Rock Anchoring, Rock mass grouting, Tunnel Ventilation, Geotechnical Monitoring & Geological Data Management System, Tunnel Profiling, drilling of water curtain boreholes and its testing by Drilling/coring and water pressure testing of water curtain bore holes. Construction of shafts with excavation of abutments/keys for concrete barriers, including retaining structures in soil/weathered rock. Maintain Quality Control tests as per the Tech. Specs by regularly monitoring during the construction stage and generate Quality Control reports. Regular planning and Cost Controll during Rock Blasting activities by maintaining an economical lead for output. Surveys, alignment and measurement including installation of optical survey points, and Portal construction. Also, to maintain HSE standards within the construction zone. I have also experience in construction and execution of Airfield Pavements consisting of Runway, Taxitrack, Aprons and Air Terminal Buildings. Ensuring and carrying out Quality Control tests on Soil, Cement, Concrete, and Bituminous Mix during Airfield Pavement construction.
