Professional Summary 2017 Pfizer Inc Medivation HPC Migration Position: AWS Solution Architect Project Abstract: Pfizer Medivation has a HPC infrastructure for NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) used for important research & clinical programs. This includes integration of genomic and clinical data, NGS, collecting clinical, array gene expression and mutation data. The storage Isilon cluster had around 1000TB data. As part of HPC Migration project, TCS responsible for high level design, Migration strategy, and HA deployment in AWS Cloud Environment. TCS Medivation team moved all research and clinical trailer data to AWS S3 Storage area using Snowball appliance for quick turnaround and created exact similar AWS environment as like Medivation to process different Batch, Interactive and Array Genome and Exome jobs without any business Impact and Zero downtime. Responsibility: * Involved end to end architectural design, Data migration strategy and Deployment * Analyzing and reviewing business functional and high-level technical requirements * Responsible to Migrate 500 TB data to Production and DR using AWS migration Appliance Snowball * Working with AWS Professional services team in configuration of Snowballs and troubleshooting the issues. Complete understanding on Snowball usage, target folder structure and critical tools. * Participated in design and development of HPC (High Performance Computing) infrastructure on AWS as per agreed design * Designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on AWS. Built a highly available and fault tolerant VPC from scratch. * Configuring Security implementation on S3 SSE KMS encryption, Cloudwatch, and Cloudtrail and VPC flow logs. * Configuring IAM roles for EC2 instances, Integrating with Okta, Macie and assigns them policies granting specific level access to S3 buckets by customizing JSON template * Designed Stacks using Amazon Cloud Formation templates to launch AWS Infrastructure and resources to different Environments. * Configured S3 Buckets for EBS backed Snapshots. * Set up Cloudwatch, CloudTrail and various notification services for monitoring, auditing for network and Operation support team * Experience in RDS, MySQL and Postgre SQL to perform basic database administration and Manage virtual cloud Resources as required with and overall objective of improving scalability, performance, reliability and highly available fault tolerant cloud infrastructure. * Set up Cloudberry Explorer for Business User for easy navigation for file copy, delete from S3 bucket. * Creation of High Level Design, Admin and SOP guide for business Users
