To improve and implement the knowledge gained in my Master's degree as Transportation Engineer and to utilize the experience gained as site engineer for growth of the organization and myself. of the research was to evaluate effects of overweight trucks when passes on thin and thick flexible pavements * WESLEA software was used to calculate strains at the bottom of HMA layer and subbase layer. * Micro-strains were evaluated in both the layers which were then used to calculate rutting and fatigue. * The rutting and fatigue value were compared for overload trucks when with those for 18-kip load. * We concluded that thin pavement undergoes more damage than thick pavement under permit loads
