PROFILE My Masters of Science in Nursing was earned with a focus as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have enjoyed working with all ages, but my favorite has always been the adult and geriatric population. I completed my FNP degree, while employed at Genesis, on the skilled unit. My clinical experience consists of patients with acute/chronic illnesses, urgent care, chronic pain, wounds, allergy and immunology, worker's compensation, and injuries. The education of the client is essential for good outcomes. While working in various settings I developed educational material which led to improved health. Excellent support staff has enabled me to manage the client with minimal referrals. Procedures consisting of biopsies, excision of cyst/foreign bodies, and suturing of large lacerations are only a few of the procedures I have performed on site. Other positions held consist of Director of Nursing, Director of Health and Social Services, Hospital Nursing Supervisor, Clinical Nurse Coordinator, and Home Health Nurse.
