Description
Peace Corps gave me the opportunity to live and work in a rural village in Northern Rwanda. Majority of days I taught mothers a variety of health topics gave newborn vaccinations consulted HIV/AIDS patients worked in maternity and assisted in urgent care. Peace Corps was a 24 hour a day job I learned Kinyarwanda (native language) and absorbed the beautiful culture.
