CAREER SUMMARY * Business Analyst with 7+ years of hands on experience in requirements gathering, project management including staffing and coordinating software development projects * Experienced in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment as well as software engineering methods such as Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall * In-depth understanding of Business Analysis, Risk Analysis, Gap Analysis, Business Process Modeling, Change Management, Business Flow Diagrams and Business Requirement Documentation * Experienced in performing Business Process Analysis to check the compatibility of the existing system infrastructure with the new business requirements and translating user expectations into detailed specifications by using various text formats & Unified Modeling Language (UML) * Exceptional documentation skills for writing Use Case, Functional Requirement Documents as well as creating Use Case diagrams, Activity diagrams, Sequence diagrams and business process flow diagrams using Lucid Charts and/or MS Visio * Excellent requirement elicitation techniques such as interviewing, questionnaires/surveys, brainstorming, focus groups, and prototyping * Facilitating JAD sessions with business users and development team to detail out business requirements * Skilled at performing risk analysis, impact analysis and cost/benefit analysis, along with good knowledge of process work flow tools and technique * Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, decision-making and organization skills * Defining test cases, creating test scripts, analyzing bugs and interacting with QA/Dev teams in fixing errors * Involved in creating test data and experience in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and writing SQL queries that were used by the testing team to validate the data in the back-end Oracle database * Analysis preparing detailed Test Plans, Test Conditions, Test Cases and Test Data for the Unit testing, System testing, Regression testing and Integration testing * Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple task, flexible in work schedules, ability to work in a collaborative environment with minimal supervision and possesses good communication skills * Excellent Excel skills including functions such as V-lookup, sorting/filtering data, using formulas in spreadsheets * Exceptional ability to quickly master new concepts and technologies * In-depth understanding of project management practices and principles including time management, budget management, resource management, risk management and change management
