Scott has worked in the Collier County Purchasing Department as a contract specialist for the Solid Waste Management Department and helped secure the Department's "best value" for outside contractual services. He consistently demonstrated his commitment to ensure the proper management of taxpayer funds through his thorough understanding of the programs and principles of the Public Utilities Division. Scott is currently the Division's Procurement Specialist and employs the same excellent level of customer service, professionalism and "can do" attitude to meet the needs of my Department. He will methodically research each request and make recommendations for any cost-saving solutions if available. Scott is highly respected by his co-workers for his willingness to help anyone anytime he can. He has been instrumental in evaluating government-wide cost saving procedures and is very well organized and diligent in his paperwork to ensure all legal requirements are met.
