Profile * Finance/Controlling (FI/CO) Consultant with comprehensive business and accounting background coupled with more than 17 years of SAP experience in requirements gathering, configuration, upgrades, testing, functional support, and training of FI/CO. * FI/CO leadership experience in translating business goals and requirements into SAP solutions by guiding clients and facilitating decisions relative to the conversion of those goals followed by skilled knowledge transfer and written documentation of those SAP enabled business processes. * SAP FI/CO skills in G/L, A/R, A/P, Cost Elements, Cost Center, Internal Orders, Profit Center, Profitability Analysis (PA), and Costing with particular expertise in Asset Management. Skills in these applications are buttressed by more than 20 years of experience as a Controller in the Private Sector. * FI/CO Master Data, Reporting, and Reconciliation skills with G/L, Assets, Customer, Vendor, Material, Cost Center, Profit Center, Cost Element, Internal Order, and Equipment. Associated experience with Sales & Distribution, Project System, Production, and Inventory Management as they integrate with Financials * Significant work with SAP Core and Custom Development Teams on Asset, Equipment, Asset Lifecycle (ALA), and Asset Retirement Obligation (ARO) functionality. Technical * Expert in SAP Asset Accounting (all Releases) * Experienced in SAP Investment Management (ECC) * Experienced in SAP's Dual Calendar Solution * Expert in SAP FI/CO (all Releases) * Experienced in Project Systems (all Releases) * Experienced in New GL (all Releases) * Experienced in SD * Experienced in MM * Expert in US Tax for Fixed Assets * Expert in LSMW for Master Data Conversion * Expert in SAP Query, CATT, and MS Office Tools * Proficient with HPQC and Rev-Trac transport system * Experienced in data archiving * Expert in Standard Cost loads of 5 Experience/Project Work Industry: Process Manufacturing/Distribution, Denver, CO Project Description/Scope: Implement Investment Management for CAPEX Role: IM Lead Duration: Dec, 2016 - Aug, 2017 Responsibilities/Deliverables: Requirements gathering and guidance, Functional Design, Configuration, Documentation, Testing, Training (IT & Business), and solution delivery using SAP Investment Management functionality a part of that emergence the assets in their seven instances of SAP around the world had to be re-stated to the new "Fresh Start" values in the respective SAP Asset Sub-ledgers with the corresponding General Ledger impacts as appropriate. My role has been to lead a team of three FICO consultants to work with the Business and a team of 3rd party consultants to take those newly determined values and change the SAP Asset sub-ledgers to reflect those values in select Depreciation Areas for both US GAAP and IFRS purposes.
