Developed resources to competitively bid on internal contract work that was critical to future plant operations. Result: ISO compliance, efficiency, reliability and throughput increased by growing plant operations. Communicated with vendors, travelled to site and monitored equipment tear down to allow team to install on plant floor. Production launch required planning and installation of required assets in functional order and ready to produce sub-assemblies that were in turn installed on every unit leaving the plant. Failure to meet schedule would diminish value to company and jeopardized market share. Developed preventative / predictive maintenance programs and managed thru start up. Developed strategy that organized assets and documented items required for certification. Process identified issues with electrical prints/schematics and software updates. Equipment downtime had increased due to outdated or missing diagnostic aids to repair or maintain production line. Result: Upper management saw benefit and bought into the process and allocated resources to complete plan adding to the ability to achieve the certification. Implemented new ideas to improve thru put as well as operator ergonomics from past experience. Met with team members to discuss and change parts, equipment, procedures and processes to increase reliability. Results: All Projects were completed on time and with better than expected results.
