Interface with Electrical Utility Companies on new and upgraded Manual and Automated Pharmacies, Specialty Pharmacies, and Call Centers Nationwide, as well as with General Contractors, Engineering Firms, Facilities Planning and Design, Consultants, and all Facility Maintenance Departments nationwide. * Managed all aspects of electrical power, ranging up to 69 kV, supporting 6,000 employees within a 1.5 million sq. ft. building. * Experienced in all areas of installation, preventive maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of critical electrical systems and equipment. * Supervised and worked in a team of 127 unionized skilled trade employees. * Hands on experience with energy management systems, building management system, HVAC, safety, architecture work, fire alarm and security systems, UPS and Battery Systems, Emergency Power Systems, three phase power transformers, building permits, energy efficient lighting systems, chillers and boilers. * Excellent computer skills. Designed * Provide leadership, develop, train, and execute written maintenance protocol programs and procedures for Generators, UPS and Battery Systems, HVAC Systems, and Life Safety Systems for the company's nationwide critical systems to prevent failures, outages, and help preserve the company's capital investments and maintain the company goal of 100% uptime. * Collaborate with Facilities Planning and Design, Consultants, and AE firms providing design criteria, specifications, commissioning requirements for critical infrastructure equipment for new and upgraded facilities nationwide, and maintain the authority responsible for the design and installation of critical electrical/mechanical system. * Major projects coordinated with local utility companies: managed and coordinated the installation of a 5 MW Main Electrical Service for a 453,000 sq. ft. Automated Pharmacy via 3 independent grids providing primary service redundancy. Designed managed and coordinated the installation of a 2.5 MW Main Electrical Service for a 230,000 sq. ft. Automated Pharmacy. Designed managed and coordinated the installation of a 2.5 MW Main Electrical Service for a 254,000 sq. ft. Automated Pharmacy. This site replaced the nearby Willingboro location. The design was based on best technologies from Express Scripts and Medco dispensing pharmacies. Designed managed and coordinate a 1 MW Main Electrical Service for a 200,000 sq. ft. Automated Pharmacy. The service was added to an existing 2.5 MW Main Electrical Service. Designed managed coordinated and upgraded the 135,000 sq. ft. Dispensing Pharmacy form a 1 MW Service to a 1.5 MW Service. The design also included the installation of two 750 kVA Emergency Standby Generators 225 kVA UPS and Battery Systems. The installation was executied in phases without any interruption to the business. Designed managed coordinated and upgraded the 70,000 sq. ft. Front End Pharmacy and Call Center from a 500 KVA Service to a 1 MW Service. * Ensure all technical aspects of a project are communicated and technical interfaces are managed effectively to meet the project goals and schedules. Combine the knowledge experience and technical skill sets of the engineering department to establish standards to address the company's nationwide projects of both the traditional and emerging company needs. * Conduct annual maintenance protocol audits on all established critical equipment SOP's. * Establish SOP communication network to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of all established critical systems maintenance protocols. Review update and revise maintenance protocols to address any code changes any operational changes and any new program. * Monitor the effectiveness of the maintenance protocols and provide training in areas that are needed. * Evaluate and study existing electrical/mechanical systems and apply the latest state of the art technologies to enhance the efficiency modernization reliability of these various systems. Assist with the design construction and maintenance of new and upgraded facilities nationwide. * Provide and approve preliminary and final critical electrical and mechanical system design and related construction documents. * Review construction work in progress and monitor the quality of work being done. Provide design criteria specification and construction administration guidance for critical systems. * Formulate and oversee resolutions to any OSHA and Factory Mutual findings. * Provide management crisis support to all the company sites nationwide.
