[MultiFlex Pipe Systems] BIO With a corporate management background in engineering and technology related ventures, Peter have, prior to relocating to the USA from South Africa in 2009, established various technology firms such as Netgroup Consulting Engineers (now part of Aurecon international consulting engineers), Georigin digital mapping and TeleAtlas/TomTom. With executive experience of more than 20 years in a leading corporate role or in a key role as project manager on engineering & technology related projects, Peter have also been involved in power system planning with automated mapping & facilities management enterprises as well as in ventures such as expanding an engineering CAD office into a world-class digital mapping and navigation solutions firm, later acquired by Tom Tom Navigation systems. Experienced in the management of high-tech business ventures from inception to maturity. In these roles he has been responsible for the business development activities, new business concepts, corporate strategies and co-ordination of all 3rd party relations, both legal and technical. Peter received a Bachelor degree in Engineering (honors) at the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 1982 and a Professional Project Management Certification (PMP) with PMI (Project Management Institute) in 2014 in the USA. Peter's career started in 1985 in the utility industry as an electrical consulting engineer. He co-founded Netgroup Consulting Engineers which today, is still one of the largest electrical consulting engineering groups in Africa, recently merged with Aurecon Consulting Engineers. He was also a co-founder of Georigin and MapIT and was the key person who created Georigin in early 2003, focusing on building a digital map database of the Sub-Sahara Africa continent. He was instrumental in building the long-term partnership between Georigin and Tele Atlas, which led to his facilitation of the acquisition of Georigin by Tom Tom navigation systems. After a career in the engineering and digital mapping industry he decided to pursue other options with a more focused approach towards opportunities in the USA. He relocated from South Africa to the USA in December 2009 and obtained citizenship in 2015. With a strong engineering and spatial data background, Peter then focused on formal project & program management exposure, education & certification, hence the PMP qualification in 2014, to compliment existing experience.
