Summary of qualifications The personal care provided to the clients stated above covered many areas of nursing at the level of a certified nurse's aide, a Registered Nurse licensed with the State of Connecticut in a Clinical Hospital environment, a Nursing Case Manager in a Home Health Care Agency, Admissions RN for the same Home Health Care Agency, as well as Clinical Supervisor in both a Medicaid and Medicare Home Care Agency. These areas included Activities of Daily living, medical assessment to obtain and maintain optimal health for these patients, as well as homemaker and companionship activities as required as a Certified Nurses Aid. As a Registered Nurse in all aspects of my career I have gained much experience in many areas. These areas included sterile dressing changes, wound vacuums, Nasal gastric and J-tube feedings including medication administration, care and maintenance of Nephrostomies, rectal tubes, as well as Foley catheter care to name just a few. Besides these hand on nursing abilities I have also honed my ability to make Nursing Diagnosis, initiate Nursing Care Plans, and reevaluate initial Nursing Diagnosis and execute changes in Nursing Care as appropriate. I furthered myself in the Profession of Nursing by taking on Managerial Responsibilities and successfully achieved higher levels within the Saint Raphael's Hospital Health Care System as well as Masonicare Home Health and Hospice. Upon leaving Masonicare I advanced to an Administrative role as a Supervisor of Clinical services. While continuing my career as a Registered nurse I have taken steps forward to encompass the logistical portions of health care is such areas and insurance verification and qualifications which include Medicare and Medicaid requirements as well as private commercial insurance authorization. In March of 2016 I was privileged to obtain my Certification as a Specialist in Oasis C, which has greatly benefited my Supervisory Skills as it related to Quality Assurance and Education to nurses who must understand this very important assessment document for all patients which is directly related to HHRG scoring, HIPPS Codes and reimbursement. These achievement have made it possible for me to be more involvement in Administrative decision making, committee positions, input and opinions in areas such as continuing education for RN's, and Graduate Nurse Orientation and Transition to Register Nurse.
