Description
Summary of Qualifications * Radiopharmacy receipt, inventory, quality control, decay measurement, calibration, patient dose administration, and safe disposal of radioactive material per departmental and NRC standards. * Quality Control of all imaging and radiation detector equipment for optimal operation and performance. * Provision of high-quality, diagnostic imaging results and patient notes for accurate physician diagnosis. * Practice ALARA principles and radiation safety to minimize exposure to self and others. * Supportive and professional communication with patients, nurses, physicians, and staff. * Provide high-quality patient care and imaging of all age groups, from neonates to geriatric patients. * Employ critical thinking and time management skills to control patient flow and efficiency. Experience with Imaging Equipment and Radiopharmaceuticals * Quality Control. Thorough knowledge and experience in performance of Q.C. on Gamma, PET, and hybrid cameras, radiation monitoring/measurement detectors, lab equipment, with accurate data recording. * Camera Proficiency & Experience: * Philips™: SPECT systems: Brightview, Forte (cardiac), PET - CT systems: GEMINI TF Big Bore, Extended Brilliance Workflow (EBW) system software. * Siemen's Symbia™ SPECT - CT, PET - CT systems: T-Series, S-Series, and E-Cam SPECT systems, Symbia™ Syngo software * Digirad Ergo™ mobile single-head general purpose, solid state gamma camera with associated processing software * ADAC single head, ADAC Forte dual head gamma cameras & ADAC Pegasys processing software
