Description
Summary Currently, I am a web developer working in Mongo, Express, React, and Node.js. I have also built apps in Ruby, Rails, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Until recently I have been a music teacher and a musician specializing in Indonesian music as well as traditional orchestral percussion. My previous experience has taught me patience, managing people and more importantly, being managed by people. It has also given me experience working in groups, and the ability to focus on a task for long periods of time, i.e. continually practicing and learning new music. My most recent app is an activity tracker and client management system built with MongoDB, Express.JS, React.JS, Node and Bootstrap. In addition, I have built a 'Connect Four' style game using HTML, CSS, and javaScript implementing the jQuery library a web app called Gamelan Burat Wangi which utilizes ruby and ruby on rails and a web app for compiling lists of albums which utilizes Node.js, Mongo DB, Express and the discogs API. In addition to these skills, I am learning wordpress and am developing another website for one of the groups that I currently perform with.
