I am semi-retired and want to get back into a full time career. I have a BSEE, with 16 post graduate credits. Worked for GE for 21 years; left, and bought a struggling Electric Utility Distributor. Sales went from $2.5MM to $18MM in 3 years. We were so effective, that a nationwide distributor bought us out. Their sales dropped to $12MM because they "integrated us into their system" We answered the phones; they changed it to a "call center". Simple.....if customers take the time to call us, we should answer the phone.............not "push 1" for Sales.
