QUALIFICATIONS MARKETING AND SOCIAL MEDIA * Utilize social media marketing as the primary form of contact with my customers. * Create and author an annual marketing plan then work the plan. * Develop TV commercials, billboard art, radio safety spots, print and online safety literature. Acted as the voice for boater safety for live radio and television programming. Market safe boating by integrating a variety of media and constituent groups. PROGRAM MANAGEMENT * Administered boater safety classes statewide via a cadre of 145 volunteers and a contracted online course. * Recruited and trained volunteers and ensured that their classes exceeded the national standard. * Managed and audited a 600,000 federal grant, three state budgets and capital improvement funds. * Authored fiscal notes and provided legislative testimony. * Developed the scope of work for a variety of contracted services and pass through grants. * Supervised grantees, contractors, secretarial staff, instructors and volunteers. STRAGETIC PLANNING * Research and develop a strategic plan for Kansas boaters. * Research boating accidents and develop legislation that would make a safer boating environment. * Identify capital improvement projects that provide access to Kansas waters.
