PROFILE * Possess substantial project and policy development experience in public health, organizational development and leadership, and community programming, with specialization in HIV awareness and prevention. * Seasoned background in public health policy recognized and awarded for over 12 years of leadership experience with the U.S. Department of Health. * Able to establish, nurture, and maintain unified and productive relationships to achieve a common goal. * Excel in strategically prioritizing, planning and steering projects and programs to maximize use of resources, boost efficiencies, and deliver highest quality of service. * Able to craft informative and influential content to meet external and internal demands of the organization. * Proficiency in data collection and analysis, teaching/training, and compiling financial and statistical reports. SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS * Currently govern a combined budget of $3M encompassing Ryan White Care Act grants, HIV Prevention, STD Prevention, Tuberculosis Elimination & Laboratory Services, HIV surveillance, and local government allocations. * Recipient of 2010 AIDS Service Award from the Virgin Islands chapter of Balm in Gilead. * Presented with 2010 Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for providing exceptional service to Virgin Islands Department of Health as well as the Virgin Islands community. * Proactively facilitated training initiatives and workshops to enhance agency employee's capabilities in grant writing, administration, and evaluation. * Awarded in 2005 for delivering outstanding service to Commissioner and Department of Health.
