SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS/ACHIEVEMENTS Affinity Health Plan, Bronx, NY May 2016 - Present Sr. Data Center Manager Managed a critical software-defined data center (SDDC) operations team at Affinity Health Plan a company that is licensed in New York State to serve public-sector health programs. The SDDC operations is comprised of numerous VM servers supporting multi-user Healthcare related transactions. Served as primary point of contact on a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week basis for Network Operations, Customer Service Operations, Production Control, Computer Operations, and Help Desk. Coordinated timely disaster recovery procedures affecting the stability of data center operations. Interfaced daily with client/development users in the Philippines and India to address a range of technical issues and concerns. * Developed and revised wiki-KB departmental procedure manuals to assist staffs in technical operations, With the goal to optimize operational efficiencies. Implemented Quality Control procedures to ensure full compliance with Service Level Agreements. * Perform reporting on the current and predicted operational states of assigned systems in a VMware vSphere infrastructure utilizing various tools. * Lead meetings with the leadership team from different department heads to discuss on improving bottom line financial and optimize operation efficiencies in the SDDC. * Partner with service line leads and management to plan and execute application roadmaps and provide planning and support for migrations and updates. * Manage the Cisco Tidal scheduling system, including the insertion of new jobs, modifications of existing jobs and deletions or other changes to task schedules. Ensure the scheduling software is up to date in terms of releases and patches. * Hire, develop, manage, and evaluate direct reports in the effort to creating an effective team.
