My goal is to ensure that at-risk students, especially English learners, are surpassing district goals and increasing student achievement on state mandated assessments, while preparing them as life-long learners for college and/or work-ready skills. In December 2017, my English learners for English II ESOL, Beginners/Intermediates, exceeded the district goals in various Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) in my category.
