Product success and global market penetration led to the acquisition of Fast Search by Yahoo. * At Lycos I led the business development side of the Lycos Search products. * Devised and executed the distribution strategy which allowed Lycos to achieve a massive user base and revenue stream for their SideSearch. The rapid growth made Lycos an attractive M&A target and I was quickly acquired by the major Korean ISP Daum. * Extensive involvement in the negotiation and execution of contracts worldwide for both FastSearch and Lycos.
