SUMMARY * Extensive knowledge and experience in the operation, installation, service and repair of LAN & WAN equipment, vlan configuration, router/switch configuration of ALU OA-6000, 7000, 9000 and OS-6850, mainframe computers, extensive troubleshooting install, test and troubleshooting copper, fiber, PC's and computer workstations, encryption, video teleconferencing, transportable satcom terminals * Work independently to ensure the maintenance, operation, and performance of critical FDMA and TDMA VSAT and larger satellite terminals in support of theater military communications. * VoIP PBX: Alcatel-4000 series, installation, add move changes of individual phone types. * Portable, mobile and fixed station 2 way FM radio equipment, video teleconference equipment, radio controlled digital alarm systems and Digital Encryption Voice Radio systems. * Server 2000, 2003, 2008, OS2, VMS, Linux and Solaris operating systems. * Workstation: Windows NT, XP, Win 7, Wind 8.1, and win 10 OS's. * Printer: HP LaserJet series as well as inkjet, models to include 6000 8000 series troubleshoot, configure * Communicate with NOC and individual vendors to facilitate repair and replacement of failed equipment. Install, maintain and troubleshoot inter-facility fiber optic links in support of LAN/WAN IP based communications. * Troubleshoot and resolve any identified RF/IF circuit or equipment outages with the use of test equipment (spectrum analyzer, power meter, etc.), mechanical drawings, and schematics.
