Summary of Qualifications * 15 years in the Accounting field as an accountant, finance, bookkeeper and tax. * Thorough knowledge of accounting terminologies, formats, principles, standards and double entry bookkeeping system * Ability to pay attention to the finer details of the transactions and post accurate value of the exchange in ledger books * Support to the Focus IS, POS, Finance and Internal Accounting * Excellent organizational skills that helps in the upkeep of various books of accounts and source documents * 25 years in Computer field as a computer programmer, migration, conversion and custom code applications such accounting, finance, bank, credit card, and education. * Migration/conversion and custom code using RPG and COBOL language. * Good understanding of OS/400 and DB2 * Experience with general programming/scripting requirements * Experience with RPG programming, SQL coding and CL * Knowledge of writing SQL queries, SQL Management studios and PostgreSQL. * SQL queries for AS/400. * RPG programs to convert from AS/400 to Focus * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions * Ability to manage a high volume of detail with excellent accuracy * Database foundations for modeling oriented. * Conceptual thinker successful at refining audit system.
