Summary I am an experienced professional in the field of GE Aircraft Engines, Engine Components, Special (Welding, Heat Treat and FPI) Processes, Composite and Plastic processes. I successfully designed and implemented many Quality and Manufacturing Systems. I have considerable experience in Manufacturing Information Systems as I successfully designed implemented and trained users in the operation of automated manufacturing and inspection equipment of my design. I began my career as member of the team which setup several Engine Test Cells for testing GE CFM56 Series of Engines. I designed and developed implemented test equipment to test the engines accessory components. I led successfully led the project to develop a Software Quality System for engine which was compliant to government standards. I developed the program, trained and led teams for a facility of 1200 through ISO9001 approval in one year. The project was scheduled by corporate for two years. Most recently my firm was retained for a one year assignment by an Asian company to secure a contract to overhaul Jet Engines for General Electric. Part of the assignment was to reduce Total Production time for Engine Overhaul from over 300 Days to 70 Days. This KPI was scheduled for one year was completed 7 Months. I successfully implemented a Six Sigma Quality Program during the same period and led the facility in preparation for AS9100 and As9110 Approval.
