Summary. I served as a correctional officer with about 4years working experience. As a correctional officer, I supervised adult and youths offenders respectfully. I acquired a bachelor degree in social work from Prairie View A&M University Texas I have a master's degree in counseling from Prairie View A & M University Texas I acquired 400 hours of internship mainly on casework load on families, groups and juveniles as an intern Parole Officer. This took place at the Texas State Department of Juvenile Justice. I had internship at Wise counseling services from my master's degree program I have also worked as a social worker at the Young Men Christian Association in Houston Texas. I also have an associate degree in pharmacy technology, from Lone Star College and the license to practice in Texas. Accomplishments. I have encouraged various offenders mostly adults to shun social vices and follow the right paths. This has shown tremendous and positive results and I have received accolades from my supervisors. I have re-tailored youths' and adults' paths as a social worker intern at various junctures, both at Texas State Department of Juvenile Justice and YMCA respectively. This was made possible by applying counseling techniques. I have also assisted individuals in setting goals, and resolving their psychological problems by employing psychotherapy approach.
