Summary: * Have more than 9 years of IT experience including Java Development, Middleware Infrastructure Support, Infrastructure Upgrade, Automation Platforms * Currently working as a Technical Lead for Infrastructure Upgrade as part of Server End Of Life Program for a global financial services client also managing the team that is working on the upgrade * Leading account wide initiative of Automation/DevOps using Ansible, Jenkins, Docker etc to reduce overall operation cost and bring in efficiency * Extensive Experience with technologies like IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server, IBM Tivoli Directory Server, Microsoft IIS and Atlassian products like JIRA, Fisheye, Confluence along with hands on experience on these technologies * Hands on experience with automation using Ansible * Have been working from different regions (India/Australia/UK/US) around the globe - Currently in NJ, USA * Manage all facets for large and small scale projects and assure that projects achieve desired business and technical objectives * Effectively track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns via status reports and communication to the project team and Executive Management * Manage and coordinate all resources involved with the software implementation including 3rd party client relationships for design, implement and maintenance activities * Making sure the technology updates are done keeping in mind organization wide standards * Provide and implement Service Improvement Plans to higher management * Work with Project teams on various deployments, address issues and risks with appropriate mitigation plans * Involved in planning of decommission of applications servers and migrate the services on new physical/virtual servers * Analyze and troubleshoot all in-scope incidents within defined SLA's and recommend a corrective action plan * Responsible for operational effectiveness of all environments * Designed and set up Disaster Recovery environment and ensured to run the DR activities once a year to ensure all the production updates are being updated to DR environment * Strong experience in managing migration activities * Able to multi-task and interact with a variety of stakeholders and business leaders * Maintain a strong and collaborative relationship with the business and IT and serve as a strong advocate of the new/enhanced process or solution * Have been awarded on multiple occasions for dedicated efforts to the organization's continued success * Certified by Australia Computer Society Experienced on both Linux and Windows OS platforms * Migration of IBM WebSphere Application Server from 6.0 to 7.1 and 6.0/6.1 to 8.5 * Migration of IBM Tivoli Directory Server from 6.1 to 6.3 * Performance tuning of JVMs to enhance application performance
