I designed, developed and updated Urdu curriculum and also created Punjabi basic and high level courses in accordance with an Associate Directorate of Education and Training (ADET) instructional system design (ISD). My duties also include providing authentic course material in variety of teaching modes covering disciplines such as grammar, listening and reading comprehension and speaking/writing skills. I also draft answer keys for all authentic materials and student exercises to include idiomatic English translations of reading texts and verbatim transcripts of different passages using target language keyboard font or using software capable of utilizing foreign language fonts i.e. Rapid Rote and Scribe Zone. I also provide in-depth explanation of language grammar and structure as depicted in all models like in speaking, listening writing and reading passages. I am trained on Smart/Board Symposium, audio/video/DVD components and computer applications such as Microsoft Office. I use blended delivery modes such as platform, online, distance, asynchronous eLearning technology and self-paced instruction. I am also responsible for providing constructive feedback on student progress and ensure all learning assessments correlate with or directly support unit/topic/course objectives and delivering area studies content in Urdu, Punjabi and English as required.
