International Airport Rehabilitation Project) Manage the day-to-day facilities operations and maintenance infrastructure at the Goldstone NASA/JPL Deep Space Network Complex (DSN). Provide all operations and maintenance support problem analysis and resolution support network engineering efforts and radar and radio astronomy activities. Specific responsibilities include: manage, plan, prioritize, organize staff, directly support, control and report assigned tasks and projects set department vision and objectives set individual work standards and objectives. Evaluate performance and communicate results administer salary, EEO and employee recognition programs initiate required employee training meet/communicate all environmental, health & safety requirements and training facilitate two-way communications and develop personnel for advancement to positions of greater responsibility directly interface with JPL customer counterparts and senior managers. Managed a 63-member staff of both Union and Non-Unionized members. Financial/Operational Highlights: * Completed a $6.5M site wide update of the medium voltage power distribution system to meet NFPA-70E, NEC and OSHA requirements * Implementation of a $3.5M UESC (Utility Energy Service Contracts), providing energy savings and site reliability * Developed departmental and construction project level budget planning, management, contract administration and scheduling * Oversight of several facilities related NASA Root-Cause failure analysis to determine Failure, Cost and Lessons Learned
