Accomplishments * In-depth knowledge in the nuclear and fuel manufacturing areas for commercial and government customers, including ~10 yrs as a Hanford Manager and Project Mgr. * As the primary Proposal Manager, led a consortium of 5 companies in planning/conducting/submitting a significant value DOE proposal (>$400 million) on MOX fuel facility construction and operation. Also contributed to other significant proposal efforts on the DOE DUF6 program and the PDCF. * Managed all AREVA US/Far East BWR fuels contracts (totaling ~$1 billion value) as the Project Management (PM) Group Manager. Also served as the direct PM for the largest AREVA utility customer individual contract (~$150 million revenue). * * Have held engineering through mid-management level positions with primary technical & commercial responsibilities for an international engineering/mfg company * Developed and successfully implemented cost-cutting initiatives saving ~30% of my organization's annual budget, and developed and executed business development programs that significantly improved profitability. * Achieved ~$500 million in new revenue through successfully managing major commercial/government proposal efforts and contract implementation. * Managed customer interfaces with commercial utility customers, with DoE, with external suppliers, and with internal stakeholders. * Developed and implemented an assessment/prioritization/selection process for international nuclear fuel R&D tasks. * Managed all AREVA US/Far East BWR materials and nuclear fuel rod analyses activities for nuclear fuel design and production. Successfully resolved critical engineering issues allowing fuel design/manufacturing to proceed on schedule. * Successfully/effectively managed employee organizations within an international company, requiring critical communication and interface responsibilities and technical and personnel problem-solving capabilities. * Currently serve on the DOE-HQ Environmental Management Site Specific Advisory Board for the Hanford site. * Currently provide technical/management consulting services to the nuclear industry.
